Rules:
1. All tests will be in a 20x40m Arena in the main outdoor arena - there will be room to enter from A.
2. Warm Up will be in the indoor arena. Numbers in the warm up will be limited for everyone’s safety. There will be space in the lunge arena (20x40m) for walking in/walking off (walk only please to ensure you don’t affect tests being ridden).
3. Attire: Smart Casual. Dress will be informal so there will be no penalties for incorrect attire. If you don’t have a show jacket then please don’t worry!
4. Tack: should be correct for dressage but there is no need to buy a white dressage square if you don’t have one.
5. There is no requirement for competitors to wear numbers.

ADDED NOTES:
Our event is all about taking part, enjoying your horse, getting feedback and raising money for charity. So just to let all competitors know the event is running as “dress down” dressage.
This means some formal tack requirements have been relaxed but the horse should still be wearing a correctly fitted saddle and bridle.
The horse may wear boots (including hoof boots) & any colour saddlecloth. If anyone wants to ride bitless then that is fine but we will otherwise apply standard dressage rules on bits. If you want to check on any other items of tack just drop us a message - we have already said yes to titanium calming masks.
However, draw reins, market harboroughs, bungees and other restrictive training aids that affect the horse’s natural carriage will not permitted though.
Riders should be smartly dressed but formal show attire / jackets are not required.
We do have a best turned out prize 🏆 so do still feel free to dress up!!!
