About this Event
This event is for Girl Scouts who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous People of Color). This is not meant to be exclusive; however, we are creating a space for our BIPOC Girl Scouts to connect with each other without fear of micro or macroaggressions.
Grades 8-12: Visit the Justice and Democracy Center of Minnesota to celebrate the Bill of Rights Day! You'll explore the Justice and Democracy Center's interactive exhibit, meet a practicing federal judge and tour their chambers, and learn why the Bill of Rights is so important to our democracy. You'll even be able to meet a US Marshal bomb dog!
The Justice and Democracy Center is accessible via light rail and city bus routes. Street parking nearby is limited, but there are multiple parking garages close to the center. The building and program is handicapped accessible. All participants and chaperones will go through a security screening and a metal detector.

Adult/Youth Ratio:Only 1 adult is required to register and attend with every 10 youth members. More may register as needed.
