But more than that: Bill Charlap is simply exceptional in any context, with any colleague, from Sandy Stewart to Dee Dee Bridgewater and Tony Bennett, from Dick Hyman to Renee Rosnes, and just by himself with his trio, Bill Charlap is a wonder and a joy.
