Celebrate the spirit of mountain biking and the trails that bring us together at this special event hosted by Ventura Land Trust and local mountain biking advocate . Taking place on Wednesday, February 7th, this evening event offers a guided ride on Harmon Canyon's scenic trails, including both easy and challenging options to suit all skill levels.
This event honors our amazing VLT bike members while welcoming the entire mountain biking community to explore Ventura’s nature preserve. Harmon Canyon offers 15 miles of stunning recreational trails, free and open to all, making it the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of riding and connection.
What to Expect:
Easy Ride Details:
Enjoy a relaxed ride through Harmon Canyon’s scenic trails, led by Chris Chaleunrath, VLT’s Development Director
Fire Road → Trail 101 → Fire Road → Trail 102 → Trail 105 → Price Family Trail → Fire Road → Long Canyon Road cutoff → Return via Fire Road (~5 miles).
Difficult Ride Details:
Challenge yourself on this exciting and dynamic route, guided by local mountain biking advocate Niki Camps
Trail 101 → Fire Road → Trail 102 → Trail 105 → Farr Family Trail → Fire Road → Roper Smith Trail → Return via Fire Road (7.6 miles).
