Bike Tune-Up Day at Castilleja School – Volunteer Mechanics Needed

Join us for a hands-on day of bike repair at Castilleja School in Palo Alto, where we’ll be tuning and repairing student bikes to keep them safe, functional, and fun to ride. This event supports the work of the Live In Peace Bike Shop, a nonprofit dedicated to youth empowerment through cycling and mechanical skills. While the private girls' school isn't exactly a demographic in need, we'll also be supporting their efforts to encourage kids to ride their bikes to school.

We’re looking for volunteer bike mechanics—experienced or aspiring—to help inspect, adjust, and repair bikes for students. You’ll be part of a collaborative crew providing real-world service while raising funds for a great cause. Bring your bike stand and favorite tools if you can.
