About this Event
Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition implements Valet Bike Parking at each Levi's event. With your help, we take thousands of cars off the road each year. In doing so we reduce congestion for surrounding neighborhoods, strengthen enivornmental efforts, and improve accesibility for those who don't own cars or can't drive. A meal will be provided!
What to Expect:
- Report to to check in
- Setting up and breaking down canopies and bike racks
- Greeting and explaining the process to users
- Intake bicycles/scooters with identifier tags
- Wheeling bikes to and from bike racks
- Lifting bicycles on and off bike racks
- Monitoring bikes during event
- Matching identifier tag with bike/scooter for safe return to user
- Building community with fellow riders
Transportation and Parking Plan for Volunteers
Parking/being dropped off at Levi's stadium is extremely time consuming and expensive. We encourage you to arrive at one of the neighboring light rail stations with a dedicated parking lot - such as the River Oaks Station - and train in to the Great America Station.
Qualifications
Minors aged 13 to 17, who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are required to digitally sign and send in our Minor Consent Form to [email protected] a backup, it's an option to bring a signed hard copy of the form to the shift supervisor the day of the event. Volunteers under the age of 13 must also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to volunteer.
