Get ready for an epic weekend of mountain biking! The On Yer Bike team is heading to BikePark Wales on Sunday 24th August for a full day of riding – and you’re invited.🚐 Travel & Camping Info
We’ll be driving down on the evening of Saturday 23rd August after we have all finished a hard days graft fixing your bikes, with plans to camp overnight ready for a full day on the trails Sunday. If you’d prefer to avoid the early morning drive on Saturday, feel free to join us Satuday night – everyone’s welcome to camp out and get a head start on the weekend. Otherwise we can meet you there on Sunday morning 8.30am at the Bike Park Wales Reception area.
Once we arrive on Saturday, we’ll be heading to a local pub for some food and a few beers – the perfect way to kick off the weekend with the crew.
After a full day of riding Saturday, we’ll be camping again Sunday night, before heading home on Bank Holiday Monday (feel free to continue riding on Monday and head back when you are ready too). It’s a chilled weekend away with the bikes, the trails, good company, and some proper post-ride laughs – just how we like it!
🚵♀️ Ride Day – Sunday 24th August
We’ll be hitting the trails all day on Sunday. You’ve got two options for how you ride:
Uplift Pass – Get shuttled to the top of the hill (first come, first served – these sell out fast! And is what most of us will be doing if not all of us)
Pedal Pass – If you’d rather earn your descents, grab a pedal pass and climb to the top under your own steam.

Don’t have the right bike for the trip? No problem – we’ve got bikes available to hire for the weekend! Whether you’re after a full-suspension trail bike or something to match the uplift runs, we’ll make sure you’re sorted.
👉 Just let us know your needs on our online booking form and we’ll handle the rest. Bikes are limited, so reserve yours early to avoid missing out!
What to Bring – Safety & Essentials
BikePark Wales has a range of trails for all levels, but it’s essential you’re kitted out properly. Here’s what you’ll need:
Helmet – A full-face helmet is highly recommended (compulsory for some trails).
Gloves – Full-finger gloves preferred.
Knee and elbow pads – Some great examples here
A well-maintained bike – Book into our workshop
Hydration and snacks – Full range in all stores
Spare tubes/tools – Multi-tool is a must
Weather-appropriate riding gear (UK… Enough said)
