Walk Bike Tampa and Pedal Power Promoters invite you to celebrate National Bike Month at a very special venue! You will hear how bicycle-friendliness is championed at the federal level by the League of American Bicyclists, and locally by Tampa’s thought leaders in sustainability, hospitality, and public health. New Bicycle Friendly Business Awards will be presented to some of our best community partners!
The event will be at Tampa International Airport in the Event Center by Phoebe the Flamingo. Join us to mingle and exchange ideas with like-minded national and local active transportation enthusiasts while enjoying a delicious dinner and drinks.
Pre- and post-event options: bike ride to airport (see Getting There), and after the program an optional tour of the new state-of-the-art, Platinum LEED Certified SkyCenter/One will be provided.

Getting There -
By Bike: A guided bike ride to the event will leave from MetWest (4142 W Boy Scout Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607) at 5:00pm with secure bike parking at the event.
By Car: Follow signs to the Economy Parking Garage. You may park on any level of the garage and then proceed to the first floor. From the first floor, follow signs to SkyConnect and take it to the Main Terminal. Take escalators down to the third floor and walk straight ahead to the event space located between Airsides E and F.
To ensure a prompt arrival for this event, no matter your modal choice, please plan to arrive at the airport 20-30 minutes early.
