Join us for the second annual Bike Fest!When: Saturday, May 11 3:00-5:00 pm
Where: AUCP parking lot (4444 Arlington Blvd)
We will have a line up of some really fun activities!
-Bicycle obstacle course- there will be a few extra bikes and scooters to try out including a Woom 1 (balance bike) and Woom 2 available to test ride
-Tot obstacle course
-Helmet fit check
-Bike & Helmet decorating
-Tune-up station hosted by Velocity Bicycle Cooperative (both kid and adult bikes welcome)
-Face painting- that's right, dolphins, puffins, pandas and so much more by the amazing Erica Exline
-Games
-ABC (Antiracism Book Club for Preschools) reading
-Pedal Heads: Bike Camp for Kids hosted in the AUCP parking lot over the summer- staff to come say hi and discuss summer camp opportunities
-eCargo Bike Test Rides including Bunch Bike 2.0 and the new 4.0; Pedego, Tern, and Spicy Curry cargo bikes: Come test ride these e cargo bikes and even borrow one to ride with your child for the slow ride around Barcroft neighborhood!
-PARADE and slow ride
Not a bike enthusiast? That's okay! Come and hang out, have a snack, play and get your face painted. :) Last year one of our AUCP alums learned to ride her pedal bike for the first time. Talk about pure JOY and EXCITEMENT.
