This will be our 2nd attempt at Bikes and Bagels in Barrington! This month we will be featuring the Heritage Segment of the BMW Line up. The R18 and R Nine T are a modern take on BMW'S classic motorcycles. Bring your BMW classic or heritage motorcycle for a chance to win a prize for Best Heritage Motorcycle. All makes and models are welcome. Event will be in front of Cycle Werks in Barrington from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Shortly After 11 a.m. there will be planned rides that will be lead by our Motovid.com team! Most of the staff from Motovid.com are MSF instructors so you can be sure these will be safe rides! They will be riding our BMW demo bikes and showcasing the Heritage segment for this month. Demo rides will not be available for participants but you are welcome to sit on the bike, ask any questions you may have about the features and come back anytime during normal business hours to test ride!
We are excited to announce that Day One Provisions & Events food truck will be here to help supply food and coffee for the event. When you arrive please check in with the Motovid.com events team and get a food voucher provided by Cycle Werks in Barrington, which will give you a credit to spend at the food truck. The Food truck will be service coffee, teas, bagels, and more. The food truck proceeds will be donated to a Charity that we will select when it gets closer to the event!
There will be a raffle where we will raffle of some BMW goods. The items will go with the them of the month which is BMW Heritage Motorcycles. There will also be a chance to win a free track day in the raffle!
In order to get the Food voucher you must sign up at the Motovid.com booth for the raffle and arrive on a motorcycle. If you bring a passenger on your bike they will be entitled to a free food voucher as well. If you don't want to ride and choose to drive in on the day, you will still be eligible for the raffle but you will not get a free food voucher. You will still be eligible to purchase food from the food truck.
This will be a Rain or Shine event! There will be no wheelies, burnouts, revving, stunts or anything else that will disrupt the neighbors and town of Barrington. We want to grow this event and be able to do this for many years to come!
