The 20th annual Bighorn Sheep Day takes place at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. This is a free, family event that includes wildlife viewing stations, live animals, nature walks, education booths, youth crafts, giveaways and more. This popular event hosts between 2,500 – 4,000 people. Organizing partners include Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, Bear Creek Nature Center, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, Friends of Garden of the Gods (FOGG), Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, the U.S. Forest Service, Nature’s Educators, Pikes Peak - America’s Mountain, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep Society and Visit Colorado Springs.
