About this Event
This workshop, From Trauma to Triumph, is on how we usually leave audiences in grief and trauma after reading poems, and the process of how to begin leaving audiences in triumph. We will revisit works that feel extremely sad and find ways to elevate them and ourselves in the process.
This writing workshop will be led by Alone ft. Company. This event is FREE, and it is taking place at Literary Arts (925 SW Washington St) in their board room on June 15th at 2:00pm. (If a Venmo/PayPal handle is presented at this event, we encourage folks to tip the workshop leader.) This workshop is a part of the's workshop series.
Alone Featuring Company, is a spoken word artist enthralled in the world of liberation and decolonization. They are a parent and poet, striving to highlight the commonality and differences between intersectional identities and our struggles.
This venue is ADA accessible. This event takes place on the ground floor of Literary Arts. There is a gender neutral bathroom on the ground floor as well.
