Dominic Berry is an award-winning poet. He was 2017 Glastonbury Festival Poet in Residence, winner of the 2020 and 2017 Saboteur ‘Best Spoken Word Artist’ award, and has toured his verse across USA, Canada, India, New Zealand, Australia, South America and mainland Europe.
His other awards include winning New York’s Nuyorican Poetry Cafe Slam, UK Superheroes of Slam and, as of 2024, ten Arts Council England Grants for the Arts awards.

As usual, we'll be hosting our open-mic section. regards to the open-mic, here's what you need to know:
1. You get 5 minutes to do your thing.
2. There will be a rolling sign up throughout the night. Sign up for the first section starts at 7pm once the doors open, and the show starts at 7.30pm.
3. Hate speech and disruptive heckling will not be tolerated.
4. There will be a suggested donation policy of £3 on the night. The money raised will go towards the cost of booking more fabulous feature acts for future events. We believe that all people who work in the arts should be paid for their work. We also believe that our audience deserves the finest calibre of poetry/spoken word in return for their loyalty and generosity.
So, come on down, grab a drink, show your support, and help the local scene grow in all its glory.
