Choose from a series of walks starting from the fabulous Postcode Coffee House at The Edge, Wigan (Riveredge, Wigan WN3 5AB).? 10:00-12:00 Canal Walk
This approx. 5-mile walk will showcase recent improvements to the canal towpath. We’ll make our way up to Appley Bridge where you can either catch a train back to Wigan or join the return walk to Postcode. Food and drink will be available to buy from Postcode Coffee House (09:00-16:00) and The Boathouse at Appley Bridge (12:00-23:00).
? 10:00-11:00 & 13:00-14:00
There will also be two shorter (approx. 2-3-mile) walks around the local area, for those seeking less of a challenge.
Important information:
⌚ Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk start time to register. No need to book in advance. FREE.
? Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather.
