BIG TROUSERS: From the deep recesses of the internet; Big Trousers, the brand new two-piece bringing their genre-defining post -post-punk sound to the (sc)rolling masses. The pair use their growing platform to shine a light on the societal issues facing todays youth, such as discount clothing stores (alleged) insidious tax practices, big oil transport monopoly, and the deep existential dread developed through overexposure to deeply satirical internet content.
The Portsmouth based duo consisting of vocalist/drummer Harry Greeves and Guitarist Jack Guy, spent the second half of 2023 concocting heavy riffs and vocal fry in secret. With debut single "TK MAXX SONG", the release surprised audiences with bizarre yet introspective lyrics and enormous fuzzy guitar chops.
Known for their a-typical set up and hectic live shows, Big Trousers are rolling out studio material and gigging around the UK to make their debut year unforgettable. With a follow-up singles "ME AND MY MASSIVE LIMESTONE CUBE" and "NO WORRIES IF NOT" releasing this summer, Big Trousers first EP (due autumn 2024) is shaping up to be the punk anthem no one saw coming.
Since their debut release, theyve already captured the attention of the industry, playing at iconic venues such as the Windmill (Brixton) and supporting the likes of punk acts Heavy Lungs (from Bristol), Alien Chicks (Brixton) and blues rockers The Family Rain (Bath) to accompany their numerous sell out headline shows (100 max venues) across the south coast. Time and Time again, the boys have proven their ability to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression.
As they continue to push boundaries and challenge conventions, Big Trousers stands poised to leave an indelible mark on the punk scene, offering raw, energetic riffs and social commentary in equal measure. Keep an eye on this duo as they navigate their debut year with passion, purpose and unapologetic intensity.
TOOTH: The band formely not known as "The Order of The Hour", now known as TOOTH - 3 dudes from Hampshire bringing a lot of noise and heavy riffs creating their own genre of "Groove Rock". Starting to forge their way into the Hampshire music scene, these guys are looking to take no prisoners on their quest for sweaty moshes. With previous shows at The Railway, Heartbreakers, The Joiners, The loft and The Stage Door, as well as a sun soaked set at Gabefest- these lads know how to work a crowd and get them moving. Expect big riffs, smoke and lights and iguanas?
MODESSA: 3 piece hard rock Rock Band based in Brighton, bringing together love for riffs and strong drum grooves. Multiple releases planned for this year!
