Formed in 2024 and based in Bridgeport, CT, Big Shrimp fuses progressive fusion rock with intricate songwriting, boundary-pushing improvisation, and high-energy performances. The young band recently completed a successful Spring and Summer Tour, performing support slots for Spafford, Eggy, and Big Something, and appearing at Northlands Festival in New Hampshire alongside Umphrey's McGee, moe., Corey Wong, and more. They were also tapped to headline the festival’s official Pre-Party at Park City Music Hall, featuring a special guest appearance by Tim Palmieri of Lotus. Looking ahead, Big Shrimp is gearing up for a Fall Tour, a live album, and an upcoming studio release.
