Come gather with UAlbany alums and fans for a pregame feast in the PE Gym and get your commemorative t-shirt before the UAlbany men's basketball team tips off against Binghamton in the annual Big Purple Growl game, Saturday, Feb. 1. New this year, take your shot at trivia for some great UAlbany prizes! The feast is open 4:30-6:30 p.m.; game tips off at 7 p.m. at the Broadview Center.Feast: $20, $10 child 4-10 (children 3 and under FREE game ticket not included)

Bring your gently used children’s books to the Ferocious Feast and help UAlbany provide books to children in the Capital District. The RED Bookshelf is a non-profit community literacy program that provides free children’s books on bright red bookshelves throughout Albany to ensure that all children have access to the benefits of book ownership, regardless of income level.
