About this Event
Join us for an exciting day of tree planting in Newquay! We’re transforming a half hectare green space into a thriving community woodland and resilient green space by planting 500 trees including an orchard that will benefit wildlife and biodiversity, increase tree canopy cover and create a beautiful space for everyone in Newquay to enjoy.
Register your interest in the Big Newquay Tree Plant and plant a personal tree as part of the new woodland that you can watch grow for years to come!

No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!
Tools and guidance will be provided and each person planting a tree will be given information about their tree location and species so they can identify it in future.
What to Bring
- Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Gloves and spade if you have them. We will provide plenty on the day.
Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome; families, individuals, and community groups. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost
Free! But please register your spot and further information will be sent out in the new year about the event.
