This October, the maniacs at Big Joke Energy are proud to present the first ever edition of Big Joke Smackdown 🥊, Toronto’s most unserious stand-up competition. We’ve invited some of our favorite rising comedians in the scene to give the performance of a lifetime for the highly coveted Golden Eggplant™ ✨🍆(note: not necessarily their lifetime).
As a member of the audience, YOU will cast your rankings that will decide the sole winner 🥇and the numerous losers. The winner will be showered in glory, praise and gain an extraordinarily large ego that will ruin all their future relationships. The losers will be brushed to the side and die 💀… eventually.
The evening will be capped off with a set from a pro headliner (someone who’s above your judgment) and a ceremony for the victor 🏆.
