We Invite you to join us for the 2nd annual Big Gay 5K & 1 mile Pride Stride! The race will be held Saturday morning, March 21st, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The 1 Mile Pride Stride walk will begin at 9:45 AM.We are so proud and honored to host the Big Gay 5k again this year. Last year's turnout was phenomenal and far exceeded our expectations with an outstanding 286 participants. How many can we get this year?!?! This route is flat, fast, and fabulous. Let's get some community, competition, celebration, and connection!
This fundraiser is for Rome GA Pride. We are a nonprofit and any funds we raise directly help the local LGBTQIA+ community. We encourage people to show their Pride at the race!! We want it to be bright and fun so people can show their true colors and show their pride. Come be yourself in a safe space and get involved in the community. All are welcome to participate and, most importantly, have fun!
Race Registration Fees:
*$30 -- 5K -- Pre-Registration Entry Fee / $40 Day of Race
*$25 -- 1 Mile -- Pre-Registration Entry Fee / $35 Day of Race
PLEASE NOTE: T-shirt size is Guaranteed if you REGISTER by WEDN., March 11th. (While registration will still remain open until Sun., March 15th, we simply cannot guarantee you get the shirt size you want beyond March 11th.) Register EARLY!!

Race Route / Start-Finish & Parking:
* This USATF-Certified 5K Course is scenic and very fast, and meanders through the beautiful Oostanaula River Trails of Rome.
* There is plenty of parking near the race's start/finish area at Ridge Ferry Park (Dog Park side, north of RR tracks).
