Big Friday
Held at V23 Athletics located on Inverness Drive East in Englewood, CO, USA, Big Friday brings elements of the sport of Olympic Weightlifting and makes it more accessible to the fitness scene. Always free and featuring some of the best prizes.
The Summer Swolstice Super-Total is a unique spin on the Big Friday Series. This time teams of two will advance through five, 10 minute stations where they will test their one rep max in the snatch, clean & jerk, back squat, bench press, and deadlift - in that order. Their combined super-totals (the heaviest succesful attempt of each partner at each lift added together) will be their team score. Highest team super-totals in each division will be elligible for prizes.
