At barely 19 years old, Luna consequently shared company and the stage with singer Lesley Rae-Dowling, Laurinda Hofmeyr, Nicole Holm, and Eugenie Grobler. This experience catapulted her into a life of music and the release of her first EP "Luna" (2003). Her first full-length album, "Missing Pieces" was released in 2005, after which she released two more English albums, "Wonderful Life" (2009) and "Borders & Beyond"(2014). During the pandemic, Luna Paige launched two digital music series (“Behold, my heart” & “Calm after the storm”). This series of singles were made available on her online music store at www.lunapaige.com.
Paige also writes songs in Afrikaans. Her first full-length Afrikaans album was launched in DVD format in 2012. Luna was producer and director of the musical theatre production "Korreltjie Kantel". This project celebrated the works of Ingrid Jonker. Here, Luna Paige worked closely with fellow musicians Nick Turner and Jamie Jupiter. During the pandemic (2021-2024), Luna Paige worked in marketing, sponsorships and fundraising at prominent school, Paul Roos Gymnasium. It was upon leaving Paul Roos Gymnasium (January 2024) that Luna Paige took the opportunity to introduce the wide variety of music she has written over the previous seven years. In April 2024 she surprised fans by launching two albums - one Afrikaans album “Dis die dors” and one English album “Harmony”.
After three months in Europe in 2024 and some performances in the Netherlands (where she laid the foundation for her return to the Netherlands in 2025), she returned to South Africa for the two-month national COMING HOME TOUR (October – November 2024). The goal was to promote her two new albums nationwide.
In 2025 Luna will embark on two national tours. The OCEANIC HEART TOUR will run from February to May, whilst THE TRAVELLERS TOUR will run from July to October 2025. After the completion of these two tours Luna Paige will head off to the Netherlands to bring a specially curated show by name of DREAMLAND to Dutch theatres.
