Join us, the original family rave, for our Father's Day celebration where you can skank out with the whole family - in a brewery!
We will have DJ Raks and pals on the decks playing a festival set of garage, drum and bass and JUNGLE - rwar! Our Tap Social events are honestly the highlight of the year - a fantastic crowd, super friendly staff, lots and lots of dancing!
Music will be at a safe level for little ears along with bursts of bubbles, balloons, confetti cannons, smoke rings and snow foam! Plus, we'll have our grande giant parachute finale!

If you have raved with us before at The Tap please note that this event will be slightly different. There will be no baby chill or toddler areas to allow for a completely indoor event.

All ages are very welcome, but activities are designed with 0-8 years olds in mind.

Wheelchair access to the first-floor dance area is available (the second-floor mezzanine is only accessible by stairs). The stairs leading to the mezzanine are narrow, please keep left and take your time. There is a toilet on the ground floor but this is not a fully accessible toilet with the required handrails.

There are toilets on the ground floor and a changing table will be available. There will be no high chairs available.

There is very limited storage space available, please leave prams behind if possible. Valuables (including kids) are the parent's responsibility. Prams will not be allowed on the dance floor. Slings are encouraged and are cool! Pram will be kept outside in a gazebo.

Coming by bike is very popular at this venue. There are a few racks available but we cannot guarantee there will be space. You are welcome to park around the area at your own risk.

This event is split between the indoors of the brewery and a large outdoor area with picnic tables and some of the activities. Please come prepared for all eventualities like you would for a festival.

There is a no refund policy. If you are unable to attend you may sell your tickets to someone else. If well in advance of a sold-out event please email [email protected] so we can try and match you with someone on the waiting list.

If within 24hours of the event then please post them to sell on the Facebook event page. Please inform us if you post on Facebook, as we validate these posts

Adults remain responsible for their children at all times

Adult only groups are not admitted. A max of 3 children per adult in a family.

The event will be busy. The dancefloor is for adults and children to dance together.

For indoor events, low lighting/club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used. BFLF Crew will monitor the stairs.

Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating

Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance

If attending as a large party please ensure one adult to two children minimum. We will refuse entry to groups where there is inadequate supervision. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email [email protected] for pre-approval before buying tickets

Each member of your group must have a ticket and pre-walking infants are free (but ticketed).

The music level is set and monitored throughout to abide by WHO guidelines. Though quieter than at adult events, it is still loud enough to feel like you are at a club. Most parents do not use ear defenders on their children but if yours are particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap then you might want to consider it.

We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes

When you purchase a ticket through Eventbrite you will automatically get added to our mailing list so that we can send you any important event information as well as future events. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Please be aware that BFLF is designed to provide a family-friendly, authentic club experience and is not a traditional children’s party or disco. There will be no kid's music, games, or DJ shout outs. The effect is to give families unity on the dancefloor – dancing together. DJs will be announced in advance of each party via Twitter and Facebook but may be subject to unavoidable change.
