Big Finish Day - Your chance to meet the creators and stars of the many worlds of Big Finish and to catch up on any releases you may have missed. Includes interview panels, autograph opportunities, photo studio, writers' workshops.The long-awaited Big Finish Day event at Derby QUAD has now been confirmed for Saturday, 23 April 2022.
The event had been previously postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to ongoing concerns about the safety of guests and attendees, plus the restrictions imposed on venues by the Covid-19 pandemic.
All tickets originally purchased for 2020 will automatically be transferred over to the new event in 2022.
Plus, in association with our partners, Whoovers and Derby QUAD, we are pleased to announce that the event will be streamed online to make a Virtual Big Finish Day broadcast accessible for everyone across the globe.
Big Finish Creative Director, Nicholas Briggs, said: “We're really excited we can finally fix a date for the Big Finish Day that has been so long postponed by the pandemic. Between now and 23 April, we'll be gearing up to make this a really special event for all who can attend.”
Steve Hatcher, of the Whoovers, added: “The Whoovers and QUAD are delighted to be welcoming our friends and partners at Big Finish back to Derby for our long-postponed Big Finish Day.
“We will be devoting our energies over the coming months to delivering a great day celebrating the wonderful output of Big Finish Productions. Please watch out for guest announcements in due course.”
Big Finish Day was a sold-out event before we were forced to postpone it in 2020. Please rest assured that all tickets sold for the original date are still valid. Ticket holders who are not able to attend on the rearranged date should contact Derby QUAD Box Office at https://www.derbyquad.co.uk/about/contact-us to arrange a refund.
No new tickets will be sold at this point. Any returned tickets will go on sale in the New Year. Returned tickets cannot be reserved and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that the social media teams for Big Finish, Whoovers and Derby QUAD do not have access to ticket bookings and will therefore be unable to offer assistance or comment on specific ticket sales.
All guests are announced subject to work or urgent personal commitments. Guests are not announced until they have agreed to attend, but sometimes things change. Tickets are sold for the event as a whole and not on the basis of the attendance of any particular guest.
AUTOGRAPHS
BIG FINISH GUESTS...
will sign any BF item for free, with a limit of up to 10 items (including pre-purchased items). If you buy more than 10 BF items on the day, you will be able to get them all signed.
One non-BF item will be signed by each BF guest for free.
Some guests may charge for special, additional items they are selling.
WHOOVERS GUESTS...
will sign up to two Big Finish items for free. Further items will be charged for.
The Whoovers will be selling licensed photographs of our guests and selected Big Finish guests.
