Here we go again with another big, dumb ride. We will be staying in Pisgah Proper this time. Heard about a trail getting a refresh and reroute, so we’re gonna take the scenic route to check it out! Route will be Daniel Ridge/Long Branch/Searcy/Butter with some gravel climbing in between. Direction of Daniel will be decided during the ride. We will be looking at roughly 22 miles and about 2,800’ elevation gain.
BRING ENOUGH FOOD AND WATER for an extended ride as we may session some parts of Daniel. I do have a filter if we need to fill up with water.
BRING A SPARE TUBE if you wish. I will have plenty of tools and I may bring a tube, but I do like to live on the wild side, so maybe I won’t.
Since we have a slightly later start time, post ride refreshments will be on your own or we can make plans during the ride. We are all totally flexible with this.
