Dive into the morning sessions with a choice between two concurrent workshops:
- Reclaiming the Divine Feminine: Led by world-renowned Kathak dancer Rachna Nivas, this session will explore the intersection of dance, Tantric philosophy, and spirituality, culminating in a movement and meditative workshop.
- Womb-Healing Meditation: Join pranic healer Shilpa Agarwal for a deeply restorative session focused on healing and connecting with the divine feminine through the wisdom of the womb.
Continue your journey with an insightful panel discussion on Menstrual Health, moderated by Dr. Anita Wadhwa, where experts Dr. Sejal Desai, Shilpa Agarwal, and Dr. Shetal Vohra-Gupta will dispel myths, explore the spiritual significance of menstruation, and discuss menstrual equity laws.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Divine Ink: Readings from South Asian Voices, moderated by Krupa Parikh, where authors Saborna Roychowdhury and others will share powerful excerpts from their work, offering unique perspectives that blend tradition, culture, and contemporary themes.
Later, choose either the Womb-Healing Meditation with Shilpa Agarwal or the Reclaiming the Divine Feminine workshop with Rachna Nivas, ensuring you experience both transformative sessions.
End your day with the House of Devi Art Gallery & Reception, where you can explore a vibrant South Asian art exhibit featuring works by local Houston artists Sneha Bhavsar, Sheetal Dalwadi-Otia, Amy Malkan, Ami Mehta, Manju Ullukrishnan, Anu Srivastav, and Janvi Folmsbee-Mahimtura. Be sure to experience the debut of House of Devi's streetwear collection in the exhibit "Devi's Bedroom."
