About this Event
Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands on Wednesday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m. to learn about the exciting opportunity to become a mentor with our Community-Based Mentoring program. This opportunity will be a chance to engage with BBBS staff, ask questions in real-time, and learn about all that BBBS has to offer.
Community-Based Mentoring is a one-to-one mentoring program that takes place in the community doing things you and your mentee both enjoy. With just 2-4 outings a month, you can support a young person and help them gain confidence, explore new skills, and have fun! If you want to find purpose and connect to your community, this is your opportunity.
By attending, you will be able to start the volunteer enrollment process with the assistance of BBBS Staff and get one step closer to being matched with a hopeful Little.
We have 70+ Littles waiting to be matched, and with your help, we can make that happen.
Participants will receive a FREE dinner and a t-shirt for attending.
Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
