Big Bog State Recreation Area Candlelight Boardwalk Hike

Join us for Big Bog's Fall Candlelight Hike!
Luminaries will light the mile-long Big Bog Boardwalk, with a stunning night sky filled with stars awaiting you at the north end. If you've never explored the Boardwalk before, or even if you have, this is a unique way to see it!
The Boardwalk is fully accessible and family-friendly, too. Hot drinks and snacks will complete the event at the Ludlow Pond picnic shelter.
Meet at the North Unit.
All vehicles entering the park need a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit which is $7 for a day or $35 for a year.
