🎉 A very special blues night — and you’re all invited! 🎉Every year Boogaloo Promotions celebrates its founder Monica Madgwick with a big birthday blues bash. Think special guests and lots of free cake. This year we’ve got double the reason to throw a party — it’s also our 2nd anniversary at our Church Crookham venue.
We’re marking these milestones with our wonderful hosts Robin Bibi and his band, and an incredible line-up of special guests:
🎼 Paul Cox – one of the most respected blues voices in the UK, praised by Paul Jones of Radio 2/Jazz FM as “the best voice in the UK.”
🎼 Earl Jackson – award-winning blues & rock ’n’ roll entertainer, voted Best Blues Singer 2017 and featured on BBC radio and the Jonathan Ross Show.
🎼 Tom Davies – frontman of Tom Davies & The Bluebirds and finalist for Young Blues Artist of the Year at the 2025 UK Blues Awards.
🎼 Andy Broad – powerful blues guitarist and vocalist blending delta, Chicago and contemporary blues styles, and praised by Bob Chaffey of Blues in Britain Magazine for his "...clever and accomplished guitar work..."
🎼 Gary Fletcher – acclaimed songwriter and performer with decades at the heart of the UK blues scene, a previous appearance at Wembley Arena and live appearances from Radio 2's studio.
🎼 Sam Paine – modern British blues with deep Texas and Chicago roots. His blistering guitar playing and soulful vocals are not to be missed!
And of course, you'll see performances from our host, Robin Bibi. Robin is one of the UK’s top blues/rock guitarists, having paid his dues working with names such as Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Ben E. King, The Pretty Things and Helen Shapiro!
