Saturday meet at the new Maverik on North Holmes/Lewisville Hwy and the US20 interchange. I am calling it a big bike ride because mof all the road miles, bring whatever you want! Ride US20 to SH33 to Canyon Creek Bridge. Normally I'd ride from Kelly Canyon up the mountain to Canyon Creek, but by now the dust on that road is terrible. If you have been there and have first hand info about the dust, let me know. At Canyon Creek turn off south and head up to Packsaddle Lake. Then follow the road along the side of the mountain to Old Horseshoe Road, follow the gravel county roads into Victor. Or if you feel strongly about it, we can go into Driggs. But Victor has ice cream I like. Then return on SH32 twisty rd and US26 back to IF. That will get you some highway miles on your big bike then some dirt, rocks, gravel in the mountains and some twisties over SH31. And the dust will be minimal. Big Bike road ride with very satisfying ride on a mountain road. And Ice Cream in Victor! If everyone agrees we can have lunch as an option.
