Big Bike Revival events in Dunsop Bridge!
Following on from the successes during our winter Big Bike Revival sessions in the ‘Active Village’ of Dunsop Bridge, we have organised a further seven Big Bike Revival events between April and October.
An Active Village is a rural area that shows promise towards becoming a sustainably active community, following participation in the together an active future project.
Big Bike Revival is a programme of events run by Cycling UK, in partnership with local community groups.
Cycling is a fantastic way to travel locally. It’s healthy, social, practical, sustainable and can save you money. We deliver a massive programme of Big Bike Revival events across England to help adults start cycling or revive a love of cycling.
All the events are designed specifically for adults who do not cycle or have not cycled for a while by offering solutions to barriers that currently prevent them from cycling.
Events offer opportunities to get cycles fixed, learn new skills or take part in a local led ride.
All events are completely free and delivered locally by community groups and organisations which understand the local need.
Our family rides are intended to complement Active Hodder sessions already taking place in the village.
We invite you to join us for a family ride on the final Thursday of each month. These rides are intended to be fun, sociable and relaxed.
Support, advice and equipment (including eBikes) will be available for you. Our aim is to help you gain the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to safely enjoy cycling as a family!
Please contact Ribble Valley eBikes, at least 2 days before the event, to arrange your funded bike loan.
