This event has multiple divisions with specific start and end times. Refer to each division for specific times.City Park Conservancy and LDWF will host the 76th annual Big Bass Fishing Rodeo, the oldest freshwater rodeo in the country!
Online registration will open soon and closes 3/27/25
Day of registration for all competitors is at Café du Monde from 6:30am and closes at 10am
Here are the main events and times for the different events at the Big Bass Rodeo:
▪ ??? ???? ????? (6:30am-11:00am) – Main bank-fishing only event for kids and adults of all ages to catch the heaviest bass
▪ ?????? ??? ??? ???? (6:30am-11:00am) – Student fishing competition grades 7-12
▪ ??????? + ????? ???? (6:30am-11:00am) – Teams of up to five compete for heaviest 15 stringer of bream, cichilds, and perch
▪ ????? ?? ??? ????? (7am- 10:30am) – Bayou St. John fishing competition for kayakers and other non-motorized vessels. Check in Bayou St. John at Harrison Ave.
▪ ????????? (9am-1pm) – FREE festival featuring DJ, 610 Stompers, food, wildlife exhibits, crafts, games, and activities.
