The seminar, “Climate Resilience and Sustainable Development: The Bangladesh Context” explores the critical relationship between environmental development and sustainability. It examines how environmental issues guide action, shape research agendas, and drive innovative solutions across disciplines such as ecology, economics, technology, and social sciences. The seminar underscores the need for balanced approaches to economic growth, social equity, and environmental conservation to secure a sustainable future.Aim:
BIE seminar aims to disseminate environmental research and innovative ideas that enhance human well-being. Environmental practitioners are invited to submit papers addressing the intersection of environmental policy, planning, research, innovation, and sustainability.
We are mainly concerned with papers that address:

• Socioeconomic Impacts of Environmental Change
• Waste Management and Circular Economy
• Water Resources Management
• Indoor and Outdoor Air Quality and Pollution Control
• Ocean & Blue Economy
• Disaster Risk Reduction and Environmental Resilience

Submission Guidelines:
A presenter can submit only one abstract through the designated email.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
The Full Paper must be submitted within the specific date.
Presenters may also submit any research they have already published if they wish.
In case of submitting something published, the published document should be mentioned and the details should be provided along with the link to the publication.
After the final selection, only the selected candidates will be allowed to submit slides for presentation. ( 8 to 15 slides max.)
Each presentation will be max (8 to 10) minutes long.
After the presentation, there will be a 5 to10 minutes discussion session for that presentation.
Presenters will be certified by the BIE for their presentations.
The presenter must be registered for the seminar.
