Join our panel as the US - and the rest of the world – gears up for one of the most consequential moments in American democracy.
About this Event

This year the US presidential election is yet again a choice between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. It’s the rematch that nobody wanted. Facing 91 criminal charges, Trump will be spending the campaign going from rallies to courtrooms while Biden is getting little credit for economic recovery and is under increasing scrutiny over his age and his stance on the war in Gaza. As the world watches on, how will America decide?
Join us for the inside track on the people, the ideas and the events that might shape the US election campaign campaign.
The Guardian leader writer Tania Branigan will chair our panel of political experts including the Guardian's Washington bureau chief David Smith, Guardian columnist and CEO Zeteo News, Mehdi Hasan and senior advisor for the Lincoln Project Tara Setmayer.
