The Visitor Center will be open on October 3, 3:00-6:00pm to join the community’s Bicentennial Celebration. Please join us if you can.An Eastern White Pine tree will be planted next to the Visitor Center as part of the celebration. The story of the Eastern White Pine and the explanation of the significance of the ceremony is attached.
Also included is the schedule of events that will be taking place at Paper Mill Island.
The packet boat replica, the Seneca Chief, will be open for touring.
4:30 p.m. - Event begins, food trucks,
5:00 p.m. - Arrival of the Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief
5:15 p.m. - Welcome ceremony
5:35 p.m. - Public tours of the Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief
7:30 p.m. - Event concludes
