Welcome to an innovative and dynamic summer experience—our Bible STEMcation and Taekwondo Summer camp! This unique program seamlessly blends the realms of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the teachings of the Bible with the discipline and artistry of Taekwondo. Participants will embark on an educational journey, exploring hands-on STEM activities that spark curiosity and critical thinking. From exciting experiments to interactive projects, campers will engage with STEM concepts while discovering the spiritual connections found in the Bible, fostering a holistic understanding of the world around them.
Complementing the intellectual exploration, our camp integrates the physical and mental discipline of Taekwondo. Certified instructors will guide campers through martial arts training sessions, instilling not only self-defense skills but also promoting values such as respect, perseverance, and integrity.
This camp is designed to inspire young minds, encouraging a harmonious balance between intellectual growth, spiritual awareness, and physical well-being. Through a blend of Bible study, STEM challenges, and Taekwondo practice, participants will leave with a renewed sense of purpose, a deeper understanding of their potential, and memories of a summer unlike any other. 1. **Date and Time:**
-Aug 6-9, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Drop-off can be as early as 8:30 am. Pick up at 4:00 pm.
2. **Location:**
- The camp will take place at Zion Taekwondo: 145 Royal Crest Court, Unit 9, Markham, Ontario, L3R 9Z4.
- For directions or any assistance, feel free to contact us at 1-226-887-6416 or Google map search 'Zion Taekwondo Markham.'
- Once you arrive, please make your way to the back of the facility where the gym is. You will be greeted and checked in with Master Jeff Hsiao or Master Kevin Cheng.
3. **What to Bring:**
- Pack a labeled water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day; we will have a water fountain for refills.
- Bring a Zion Taekwondo uniform if you have one. If you have a uniform from another school, please bring the belt and Taekwondo pants only. If you do not have a uniform, just bring some comfortable clothing for exercise.
- Sparring gear (Yellow Belts and up)
- Bring any necessary medications and inform our staff of any allergies or medical concerns.
4. **Snacks and Lunch:**
- We will provide pizza lunch and juice boxes on Friday, Aug 9, 2024. On the other days, campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch.
- Please bring nut-free snacks for our two snack breaks.
5. **Pick-Up Procedure:**
- Kindly inform us whether you, as the designated guardian, will be personally retrieving the child or if an appointed representative will be responsible. Ensure that the individual possesses a valid ID corresponding to the name previously provided.
- We may need to reach out to you for verification purposes. Kindly ensure that you are available around that time for a phone call. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
6. **Activities and Schedule:**

3: 00 - 3:30 pm - Conditioning + Stretching
3:30 - 4:00 pm Pick up
