Nature, meditation, and poetry…Nature provides the perfect setting for us to connect; to ourselves, to the earth, and to each other. Meditation is an invitation to practice compassionate awareness and acceptance of who we are and what is. And poetry can inspire us, can move us to discover something about ourselves, the earth, and all that dwell on it. Juliana Perez is a spiritual counselor, mindfulness meditation coach, and a lover of poetry and nature. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Bloedel Reserve, Juliana will lead a mindfulness meditation in the Japanese Guest House incorporating poetry that speaks to the wisdom inherent in nature, and in our very beings.

For these two special events, the mindfulness meditation will be based on BI Read's selection A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki. Space is limited to 15 people. The event is located at Bloedel's Japanese Garden House
