About this Event
This event places participants in the roles as leaders during a fictionalized—but realistic—community crisis on a table top board! Inspired by the 1964 Alaska earthquake (and Bainbridge’s own seismic risks), teams must respond to a sudden disaster, make group decisions, allocate limited resources, and keep their “neighborhood” functioning. It’s part strategy, part empathy-building, part improvisation—and all about what holds a community together when the ground shifts.
Location: Huney Hall, Bainbridge Island Senior & Community Center
There will be two times to allow as many people to attend as possible. First session will be from 3:00 - 4:30, and the second will be 5:00-6:30.
