Performer, collaborator, director, and advocate Jacqueline Farrell has earned praise from a music critic with the Wall Street Journal, who noted that her touch brought out the rich sound and tone of the organ. She is a graduate of Yale School of Music and has been dean of the Durham-Chapel Hill Guild of American Organists. Recent solo appearances include the Washington National Cathedral, Duke University, and the Örgryte New Church North German baroque organ at the Goteborg International Organ Academy in Sweden.For All Hallows’ Eve, she will play pieces ranging from the spooky to the sublime. Pieces include the traditional Toccata Fugue in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach and the contemporary Diptych for Organ by Brenda Portman.
