Coco Mellors grew up in London and New York, where she received her MFA in fiction from New York University. She is the New York Times best-selling author of Cleopatra and Frankenstein and Blue Sisters. Her work has been translated into over twenty languages and is currently being adapted for television. She lives with her husband and son in New York.
Clare Mulroy is USA TODAY's books reporter, covering new releases, publishing news, reader trends and features. She has a soft spot for author interviews, having profiled everyone from Taylor Jenkins Reid to Bill Clinton and Fredrik Backman. Clare has been with USA TODAY since 2022 and is a two-time winner of NLGJA's "Excellence in Bisexual Coverage" award for her reporting on bisexual-affirming health care and biphobia. She studied journalism at American University and is based in New York City. In her free time, Clare is a creative writer and cooking aficionado.
