About this Event
From the court to the campaign and the field to the forefront, design has become an undeniable force shaping the culture of sports. This conversation explores how graphic design, branding, and product development intersect in the fast-moving world of sports marketing with a spotlight on the rise of “arrival fits” and how pro sports have turned tunnel walks into a stage for style and identity.
Our panel brings together leaders at the forefront of sports and design: Suzanne McKenzie, Founder and Creative Director of Able Made, whose brand blends fashion, activism, and sports culture, and Candice Drakeford, Creative Director of the WNBA, shaping the league’s visual voice and cultural impact, and Anthony Harrison, graphic designer and art director, whose work across music, fashion, and sports has helped define contemporary culture.
They’ll unpack how visual storytelling powers fandom, how designers build brands that live both on and off the field, and how product crossovers push sports into culture.
Whether you’re a fan of sports, fashion, or simply the way design moves culture, this event will open up the design playbook that keeps audiences hooked and athletes iconic.
