Join us on Saturday, April 27th, 1:15PM-2:15PM for our next FREE Beyond the Dance Floor workshop with Impulse director and instructor, Amy G. Smith! Before becoming the Impulse director, Amy was college English faculty for nearly 15 years and enjoyed getting nerdy with "active learning" and how people can get more involved in their own learning process.
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore, swap, and apply strategies for picking up and retaining choreography. Whether you apply these strategies to your Impulse film fest preparation, class combos, or even at-home practice, understanding how the brain and body learn new movement can increase your memory skills and confidence.
Beyond the Dance Floor workshops are led by Impulse staff on subjects they're passionate about that go beyond the classes they teach at Impulse. It's a fun way to connect and grow together, too.
