As another whirlwind year comes to a close — though, in advertising, every year can feel like a marathon — finding a moment to simply pause and catch our breath isn’t easy. We've faced tighter budgets, shorter deadlines, mounting awards pressure, fierce client competition, and the relentless hustle culture that defines our industry — It can be hard to find a moment to simply slow down and breathe, That’s why The One Club Atlanta Chapter and Amy Small have come together once again to give us all a chance to slow down, reflect, and continue this important conversation.
On Tuesday, December 10, come join your fellow ad folks — live in ATL — to reflect on how we've navigated the constant challenges of the last few years, and share ideas for how we can create healthier agency environments in the years to come.
If you missed our first , don't miss this opportunity to catch up.
Join Amy Small, seasoned creative lead and passionate mental health advocate, along with Alex McInnis, leader of The One Club Atlanta Chapter, for a quick recap and fresh insights. Amy will share insights from her recent industry-wide survey, followed by small breakout sessions where we’ll confront some of advertising’s biggest challenges head-on. How can we break the norm of 60-hour workweeks? How do we push for fair compensation on pitches? And how can we advocate for mental health training across our teams?
We'll have drinks and snacks to get the conversations flowing, and with any luck, you'll not only make a few new friends, but you'll also take home some powerful ideas for moving our industry beyond the breakdowns.
