Rev. Dr. Tracy Mehr-Muska, Doctor of Ministry, board-certified chaplain, and author of Weathering the Storm, Simple Strategies for Being Peaceful and Prepared, will speak on “Building Resilience in the Face of Depression or Difficulty.” This is part 2 of a 3-part series of free seminars on depression from 3 angles: physical, spiritual, and behavioral. All are welcome at this all-affirming, WISE (Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive, and Engaged) with mental-certified church in Rocky Hill. Other sessions are:
January 19: Medical Dr. James Cox-Chapman, retired chief medical officer of ProHealth Physicians, will discuss “Depression: Recognition, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options.”
February 16: Dr. James DeGiovanni, former Director of Psychology and Psychology Training at Institute of Living at Hartford Hospital, will present on “The Everyday Guide to Understanding and Living With Depression.”
