Frontier Youth Trust (fyt.org.uk) and CURBS (curbsproject.org.uk) are partnering to host the BEYOND Conference.
Gather with members of the FYT Movement and Curbs network for this 1-day interactive conference. Join us to hear stories of practice from children's and youth work on the margins of culture and society. Listen to practitioners working in creative ways to engage with and learn from the margins.
Listen to inspiring short Ted talk style presentations followed by round-table discussions with the speakers to explore the themes further. Connect with others passionate about journeying with chirlden and young people on the margins; be inspired; and make space for reflection.
The speakers will be from a wide range of contexts. Some will be speaking from christian youth ministry perspectives however this gathering will be designed to be inclusive of everyone regardless of context.
All are welcome.
This year we are being hosted by St Matthews Church in Burnley, who will be sharing with us stories of practice of reaching into their local community.
Gather with us on the 17th of October to challenge and inspire each other as we dream BEYOND our own walls.
Speakers to be confirmed soon!

Frontier Youth Trust is a movement journeying with young people on the margins of church and society. Across the UK our members are working with young people in local communities, creating new possibilities, advocating for change, and calling more to join the pioneer movement. Together we are a movement building a better world for young people. www.fyt.org.uk
CURBS (Children in Urban Situations) is a small Christian charity that resources and trains church-linked children’s workers in inner cities and on outer urban estates. CURBS advocates strongly for an approach to children which starts in their urban world, values their spirituality and recognises their developmental needs. www.curbsproject.org.uk
