About the Speaker
Dr. Marissa Caudill is a practicing adult and child psychiatrist in Los Angeles with a deep commitment to helping others find clarity, balance, and fulfillment. She began her career as a research scientist, earning her MD and PhD from the University of Connecticut before completing her adult psychiatry residency and child psychiatry fellowship at the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Institute.
As life unfolded, so did new priorities. Marriage, two children, and the demands of a high-achieving career led to a period of reflection—a turning point that reshaped her understanding of success, purpose, and happiness. Now, at 47, she has redefined her path, focusing on education, advocacy, and public speaking as The Parent Doctor, where she helps parents navigate the challenges of raising emotionally healthy children. She believes in intentional living, meaningful connection, and creating a life that aligns with what truly matters. In her talk, she’ll share practical strategies, including her approach to prioritizing the “big rocks” in life—a framework that has helped her, and many others, find certainty in their choices, deeper connections with loved ones, and the flexibility to embrace life’s many possibilities.
