About this Event

Join the Enoch Pratt Free Library in welcoming Beyond Bmore for an educational workshop on all things 21st century travel! Beyond Bmore founder Brian K. Oliver will talk about solo travel, conquering fears of traveling, thrifty pointers for finding airfare and hotels, travel in a post pandemic world, tips for being prepared for passport applications, and more.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Brian K. Oliver was born and raised on the west side of Baltimore, Maryland by his parents, Robin and Garry. He is a proud Baltimore City College High School and Towson University graduate with a B.S. in Political Science. Surrounded by a hard-working family of local leaders and entrepreneurs; education, public service, and outreach have always been priorities.

He has been a keynote speaker at many local and nationwide events encouraging others to pursue their passions and goals. In 2019 he founded BMore See More, a nonprofit organization empowering minority male students in Baltimore City through education, mentorship, and travel. He looks forward to continuing to fulfill his purpose in life as we navigate through difficult and unfamiliar times.

He is a recipient of the Men Impact Change Education Honor. In 2021 he was awarded the Black Travel Content Creator Grant by MMGY Global in partnership with the Black Travel Alliance and the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals.

Brian believes that everyone, regardless of class or circumstance, should have the opportunity to experience and witness life outside of their respective communities.
