Santa Dash is back again this year and we hope it will be even bigger.
This popular fun, family festive event is open to all ages and abilities. The De La Warr Pavilion and Bexhill's seafront will again be the setting for this sponsored event. So get into the festive spirit, whilst raising vital funds for your chosen good causes. You can run, jog, walk, push prams, walk the dog or use a wheelchair on the flat user friendly promenade, 2km or 5km. Adult and child entries each receive a Santa Suit and a medal. This year we are also encouraging more dog owners to take part with their dogs, festive costumes for their dogs is optional and all dogs that pay to enter will receive a medal. Don't forget if you want to wear a Santa Suit and receive a medal too you will need to enter separately. All profits from our Santa Dash will go to local people/groups in need and profits from our Santa Paws will go to a local animal welfare charity. Please keep any dogs on a short lead.
Arrive between 10.15-11.15am. There will be snow this year! as well as Zoe Ward, Fit and Fab, performing warm up exercises to keep you entertained whilst you wait. Race starts at 11.30am for Santas with or without a dog and Non-Santas with their dogs at the rear of the line up. REGISTER TODAY to guarantee your place then pick up your Santa Suits in advance in the foyer at the De La Warr Pavillion, Bexhill on sea on Sunday 24th Nov between 2pm-4pm. You can also pick up a token to enable you to collect your doggie's medal after the race. Otherwise suits will be available at 10.00am on the day at the back of the De La Warr Pavillion before the race but allow plenty of time to get ready. Also note that you will need to pick up a token if your dog is registered to receive his/her medal after the race. Adult Santa suits are all ONE SIZE and will automatically be reserved on entry. Child Santa suits are 5-9yr old or 10-14yr old, so please specify on form. No suits available for dogs but they can come in their own festive outfit if you wish.
