Between the Beats is an Intermediate+ Lindy Hop workshop built around the core concepts that make your dancing feel easier and more consistent: pulse, connection, momentum, and turns. Megan Aveni & James Bianco will help you feel the “in-between” moments, fix common gaps in communication, and build reliable techniques that translate immediately to the social floor. Make your swing outs feel steadier, your partner connection feel clearer, and your movement feel more intentional and comfortable.
🌟 Who This Workshop Is For
This is for Intermediate+ dancers who want their Lindy Hop to feel more dependable and effortless on the social floor—dancers who can do the moves, but want the dance to feel better: cleaner timing, clearer connection, smoother transitions, and more confident turns. If your swing out feels inconsistent across partners, your pulse fades when the music gets fast, or your turns don’t feel dependable, this workshop is for you—because it focuses on the skills that make the whole dance feel good.
🎓 Prerequisites
Comfortable with 6-count & 8-count patterns (including tuck turn, inside turn, swing out, and circles) and the Charleston basic.
