Passionate about cooking since age nine, Betty studied Foods and Nutrition at the University of Tennessee. After raising four children and inspired to fulfill her dream of operating a restaurant, she founded Johnston Street Cafe, located in downtown Decatur, Alabama. After running this popular and successful restaurant and catering business for 10 years, she sold it and opened a cooking school. With this career move, she continued writing cookbooks, catering, creating homemade foods, consulting, and public speaking about topics close to her heart.
Local artist Robin Roberts will also be at Harrison Brothers on November 22, from 11AM-1PM, painting LIVE! So come join the fun and meet Betty and Robin in person!
